The HCPRO Performance 4G is a refinery-grade mineral refrigeration oil, ISO VG 68 / SUS 300 — heavier viscosity for heavy-duty commercial refrigeration and compressors that demand more film strength.

Why mineral 4G vs 3G, PAG, or POE

4G VG 68 for heavy-duty commercial and high-pressure mineral-oil systems. 3G VG 32 for general HVAC and lower-temp refrigeration. POE for modern HFC/A2L (R-410A, R-32) — mineral is NOT compatible with HFC refrigerants. PAG for R-134a automotive only. Hydrocarbons (R-290, R-600a) are chemically similar to mineral oil for full miscibility.
