The HCPRO Performance RPO-32 is a synthetic polyol ester (POE) refrigeration oil, ISO VG 32 — the oil chemistry HFC, HFO and A2L systems need to return oil to the compressor.

When to use it

Use during compressor refill after evacuation. Use during refrigerant retrofit (R-22 → R-410A or A2L). Why POE vs PAG or mineral oil

POE is the industry-standard chemistry for HFC (R-410A, R-134a, R-404A) and A2L (R-32, R-1234yf, R-454B) refrigerants. PAG is for legacy R-134a automotive A/C only. Mineral is for R-22 and R-502 legacy systems. Using mineral or PAG with HFC/A2L refrigerants causes oil pooling in the line set, compressor starvation, and rapid failure.
