It combines a relay and a hard start capacitor into a single unit, providing up to a 500% increase in starting torque. This results in faster and smoother compressor starts, reducing strain on the motor and potentially extending its lifespan. The SPP6 is compatible with 120V to 288V systems and can be used for units ranging from 1/2 to 10 horsepower.
